It is a beautiful lake in which you can do boating. The surroundings are beautiful. Two types of boats are available. Paddle boat and rowing boat. We chose paddle boat in which 6 people can sit. In the rowing boat, the people from boating team row the boat. I loved paddling my boat and enjoyed my ride. There's a garden... More

One should definitely visit this place if they love boating. In this place they've also got horse riding. This feels really great to visit this place in evening time.

I visited Venna lake in March when it was pretty hot and sunny. After a hectic day at the Mapro Factory and few other destinations in Mahabaleshwar, this seemed to be a perfect place to relax. However, we realized that 4 p.m was still too early. The sun was very bright and hence we couldn't enjoy the scenery entirely. What... More

We went for boating to Venna Lake. But to our surprise, smaller boats (for 2) were not available. They were only available for larger groups say 6 or above. I obviously would not like to join someone else for Boating to add to everyone's inconvenience and awkwardness. The eating joints near the lake are good though!
