In the heart of Chapada Diamantina National Park between the cities of Andaraí and Mucugê is Vale do Pati. Vale do Pati is considered to be one of the most beautiful trekkings in Brazil. To explore this gift of nature for three, four or five days is necessary to hire a guide and have a certain physical preparation. My friend... More

I love Chapada Diamantina. It was my first time there, but if I come to Brazil again, I would also consider going there again. It is so beautiful and so many tings to do. I thought we did a lot but actually we didn't see much if you consider the size of Chapada.

Chapada Diamantina National Park is definitely one of the most beautiful natural places in Brazil. The area of the park is huge and the different attractions (rivers, waterfalls, cannons, caves, etc) are sometimes hours driving from where you are. The village of Lençois is the most common place to stay in the park, but consider to spend some days south... More

It was one of the best traveling experiences I have had and I would recommend to anyone who likes nature. I spent an entire week in Lencois and took a couple of guided tours that I really loved. The most wonderful experience was swimming inside a cave in Poco Azul, I will never forget it!!

Definitely good place for hiking trips. Around Lencois there are more than 4 waterfalls and if you walk 1 hour out of the town, you will reach a natural slide, which is a lot of fun! Big plus that sleeping wild and having a bath at the end of the day in natural swimming pools. It is just what you... More

This place is where I go to recharge my batteries. The energy it emanates is almost palpable. Hiking, waterfalls, good people, good food, lots of time to meditate... Like heaven

Really Great Park, Extremely Beautiful and you have the ability to see some of the sights without a Guide or Tour. I enjoyed both the Tour and exploring myself. Defiantly a Must on a Tour of Brazil.

Beautiful scenery, wonderful hiking and bathing in waterfalls and stream fed pools. We had a great guide, Kelmo from Kikio's Explorer Brazil.
