There are several pools on the way to the Devil’s Well, but if you’re willing to face the 1km long moderately hard trail, the final destination will pay off. With fewer people, the large pool formed by the highest fall in the area will guarantee relaxation and integration with nature. The high walls around the fall almost engulf the whole pool. Really breathtaking. You might wanna try rappelling down the side wall or going down the tirolesa zip line.

This is the coolest waterfall in Chapada!

On a delightful walk to get there, it is a delight to be able to enjoy such an inhospitable and natural place as this waterfall.

It's worth spending at least 2 hours there and enjoying the well and the delicious waterfall!

Swim in the pool! Go all the way to the water fall and sit under it! You'll feel refreshed and have a smile on your face for the rest of the day.

Went for a swim after a full day of hiking/sightseeing Chapada Diamantina. Perfect end to the day, nice swimming hole right near the waterfall. Extremely deep, black looking water, so not recommended for people that get scared not seeing the bottom. Worth the hike (about 30 min from parking spot) to get there.

Part of a walk from a nearby restaurant via Rio Mucugezinho river. Difficult river crossing due to heavy rains a few days prior to our visit. We followed the path of different local guides on the way to and from Poço do Diabo. Nice walk, bathing was better in the first river pool than in Poço do Diabo (rather cold and dark water). Nice attraction but do not limit yourselves to the pools closeby the restaurant and do the full walk to Poço do Diabo.

The waterfall and the pool
below it is really beautiful, but don't go there during a brasilian feriado! The number of people being there with you takes the fun out of being there...

If you are staying short and take a day tour it might be goo.But If you go after Vale do Pati trek it is not so attractive because you have seen two many small water falls and natural swimming pools. You can see a little monkey called "Saguin" ,they were so cute.

It’s a nice place to swim and contemplate the waterfall. The color of the water is similar to Coke’s. You can relax and there’s also a zip-line.

There are two places to swim here. One with a short hike and the Diablo Waterfall with a longer hike over rocks and many steps. The pool at the bottom of the Diablo Waterfall is very deep.

The hike towards the Poco do Diabo waterfall offered beautiful sceneries. The Poco do Diabo is a nice place to have a swim. Be aware that it can be very crowded!
