Spent a few hours on the beach pottering about in the sunshine. Lots of seaweed, the council had been scooping it up and taking it away in lorry loads the days before. I spent hours on the beach as a child and there are still...More

We stumbled upon this bay, as we were visiting beaches across Thanet. Plenty facilities at the bay, and plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. Nice sandy beach, and a lift (10am to 6pm) for those who require extra mobility. Right next to the bay, a well...More

We visited the Viking Bay on 15th September. It is a nice and clean beach. However, the entire beach was full of sea weeds. This beach is nearest to the Broadstairs station and is straight walk down High St. The beach has clean enough toilets....More

We had a great day out, finally saw some sand ☺ The authorities could work a bit on making it more attractive and promote it as well. Looking forward to going back!

Perfect for a young family. Rides (trampoline, bouncy castle, swing) which allow children to enjoy 5 minutes rather than 30 seconds. Clean sandy beaches, ice cream, rentable deck chairs and wheelchairs. Really picturesque too (well I thought so)

Yes you can, but be aware of the seagulls as they may try to steal food. Also please clear up your rubbish so it’s left nice for everyone. Have a lovely time.
