The Padelletti family is one of the oldest familes in Montalcino and carries a tradition of wine culture across 25 generations since the 16th century. Our cellar is situated under a 15th century building in the very centre, along the historical walls of Montalcino. It is a small cellar which has remained unchanged throughout the centuries and is packed full of history. The wine making processes continue to follow the traditional methods used to make Brunello di Montalcino, a great wine internationally renowned. It is possible to arrange guided tours of the cellar and wine tastings (in Italian, French and fluent English) any day of the week between 10:00 and 19:00. It would be however better to make an appointment in advance.

We arrived way too late, but were welcomed very warm. Nice tour around the cellars and very good Brunello. Only real old winery left in Montalcino. Thank you from Pascal and Sophie from Belgium.

Fabulously atmospheric wine tasting experience in the beautiful Tuscan hilltop village of Montalcino. The village itself looks like something from a Renaissance painting and tasting the amazing wines in this charming setting is like time travelling. Lovely staff also make this a trip well worth...More
