Worth a visit to see the very well kept gardens and the villa itself, small cafe in the grounds and wheelchair accessible to all floors of house by lift although some paths would be extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

I hesitate to criticize a well established garden attraction, they could do much more. The Camelias and Azaleas were past their best when we visited but there were only limited other plantings, we expected more. Partial disabled access, very helpful staff, very limited parking, do not visit on a holiday weekend choose a quiet day.

Villa Carlotta has a boat landing pier right outside its entrance. The villa is not overly large and does not take long to walk around, it also has a lift for easier access to the upper floors. Each room has explanations in English which is very useful. It has an interesting history. It is not overly grand but is worth... More

This is a wonderfuil, must see villa. The gardens are absolutely wonderful and the house has some great features. You could spend a couple of hours here in the gardens alone. Definitely worth visiting.
