I visited villa on my way around the Como lake. Just before stopped for a night in Argegno and started driving in the morning to the north direction. Villa Balbianello was some minutes drive from my stop. Arriving by car is not a problem, it's...More

Arguably the most beautiful Villa I saw on Lake Como. Accessible from Lenno it is about a ten minutes of hilly walking from the main town. The gardens are immaculate and stunning. An entrance fee is payable and to make the most of this Villa...More

We were warned that we might not have been able to walk up to the property as we were a party with a push chair and 6month pregnant lady but the walk was not too steep and was accessible. Well worth the effort as the...More

Do take the additional villa tour, it's well worth it. The renovation by the last owner, Monzino, was inspired. (It just goes to show you what a whole bunch of daddy's money can do.) Plunging rock faces, manicured hillside plantings, and views from the gardens...More

If you are in the Bellagio or Lenno area of Lake Como you must visit this villa. There are stunning views from every part of the estate. The gardens are incredibly well maintained. It is simply my favorite place on earth so far.

Visited the venue via our Rented Motor Boat directly from the Lake. Truly exceptional Villa and gardens, perfection personified. Cannot fault it, truly amazing. Makes my lovely garden at home, look like a poverty case......... :)

The price ticket for the guided tour and the gardens is 17EU, which is high by all means, but in my opinion it is worthy to take the guided tour and not only garden ticket for 8EU, as you see inside few things that probably...More

Had a tour of the villa as well as a good walk around the gardens. The gardens are magical, and the view is topped off by a stunning architectural feature, a triple archway that has starred in several feature films. But would definitely recommend booking...More

From the public landing stage take left and walk along the lake side for 500 mt, then you will find the shuttle at the Lido di Lenno. It is a flat walk, there are benches where you can relax. In 5 minutes it's done.
