This is a grand Italian villa. Definitely worth a visit and tour. You can make the walk from the ferry stop in town or take a boat from town. We took the walk. It was shorter than expected, through beautiful grounds.

Don’t miss this stunning villa. Take the short ferry instead of walking. James Bond film Casino Royale was filmed here. Magnificent gardens and setting. If you are a member of National Trust in UK take your cards as you get a good discount. Also book...More

grounds to this villa are stunning. Shame about the crowds though. We caught the bus (45mins) from Como to Lenno then walked 30 mins to the villa- definitely not difficult so not sure why some people brought walking sticks? You can also arrive by water...More

It is quite some walk in but work it when you get there. You can elect to do the house and gardens or garden only. We did the latter. To do the house was 20 euro each, the grounds 10.

We walked the uphill walk to it but we were disappointed of the steep entrance fees. We didn't want to spend hours there as we were walking the greenway walk. So we just walked back the rougher route. Collected tons of chestnuts which we grilled...More

From the public landing stage take left and walk along the lake side for 500 mt, then you will find the shuttle at the Lido di Lenno. It is a flat walk, there are benches where you can relax. In 5 minutes it's done.
