We wanted to visit a real local, little amalfi coast town from Salerno. We picked Cetara on previous advice & we loved it. Such a cute & romantic little town with a great old little castle overlooking the small beach, The whole setting was postcard perfect. We felt like the only tourists in town on what was a busy day at the beach. Worth a visit for sure.

Nice beach and parkings in at harbor for €2.50 / h
not so overrun as Positano in June and this is before high season
Small and romantic - just for a coffee stop, lunch and combination with a beach relax or dinner

The 15 century Torre di Cetara frames the lovely little beach at Cetara. Lovely to sit in one of the small cafes and just enjoy the view.

The realty is overlay a picture with thousands of tourists and that’s what you really see. Rip off and too busy.

Spent a week in the Torre di Cetara in a Writing and Art Workshop July 2017 . Talk about inspiration! From it's history, that begins at the massive doors to the views that leave you breathless, and the welcoming terrace the Torre is a site not to be missed in Cetara!

This tower is part of the quiet scene of Cetara with its sleepy atmosphere, few bars, sun and see view. Nice tower, great village.

The Cetera tower can be enhanced by maintaining it better and opening it to the public. From afar it makes more sense, up close you can see a bit of deterioration, even in the nearby structures.
