This small fort is at the entrance to the harbour. It wasn’t open to the public, but it is a pleasant walk to get to it along the harbour.

You cannot go into the fort which is a shame but a walk along the harbour wall wih its 3 iconic windmills is a lovely way to spend an hour or so watching the boats using the harbour

The old fort looks really impressive. There are even some old cannons on the walls, remnants of city defence system. Beautiful view on the harbour and passing ships. It is even more amazing during the sunset. Unfortunately, the fort is closed and cannot be visited.

Enjoy a walk around the harbour and saw the windmills and the fort, all attractive and a good photo opportunity whilst in Rhodes town.

What a magnificent walk with beautiful views of the harbour and across to the Palace of the Grand Masters up the hill in the old town - well worth a visit.
