We arrived at the port, as on a cruise ship. Take a right out of the port & wander around the edge of the harbour towards the fort. A little way down is a small shingle beach area, we stopped here for a little swim...More

We were not able to see it, but it sits right near the pier and is within walking distance from the ship.

Unfortunately the fort was closed for entry but I still had a chance to climb up the walls and enjoy harbour views.

Great spot for a short walk and to get some great pictures in the evening. Also home to approx 1000 cats which is a bonus. Can't go inside the fortress unfortunately but still nice to see!

Well worth the walk if in Rhodes Town as it was an important part of the knights defences during the great siege. It’s a shame the building isn’t open to the public so it can be viewed from the exterior only.
