Ruins of the Temple of Apollo. Only three original pillars at the end remain, the rest is being restored, and progress is slow, so scaffolding and fences are put up all around it. Not a really popular spot for tourists, but it has a nice view of the Adriatic Sea.
TIP; A ruin full of history.

Scaffolding is up and all around it so not getting a great view of this, but hopefully it will be worth the renovation in the long run.

Acropolis is covered in scaffolding just now so really not worth a visit. Hopefully once restoration has been completed it will once again be visit worthy

Nice place to walk to from town. Loads of history in and around the amphitheatre and the Acropolis (pity its still got scaffold round the remains). Very warm around there and nowhere to get a drink unless you have coins for the vending machines. (guess who didnt). Across the road the road at the top of the site you get a wonderful view along the coast and a good walk back to the Aquarium end of town via a long set of steps.

A must do is to catch the hop on hop off bus up here. You’ll see the arena and the temple and enjoy the picturesque trip. It’s not that far to walk to either if you like a good walk.

Dated 3rd-1st century BC (Hellenistic era) and located on the ancient Acropolis of Rhodes (Monte Smith)
It was excavated and reconstructed in a very bad way by the Italian Regime.

but you can see through the scaffold and it looked more modern than it should. Read that the Italians did not do a good job at restoring the temple. You can imagine what it should look like and its importance.
