Good value for money, but zoo is lacking in quality and conditions for some animals is very poor. Could be a really great place with some work, but run down, dirty and falling apart. However, worthwhile for the price.

I enjoy checking out zoos and find that the smaller the zoo the closer you can get to the animals. This zoo and garden was no exception. I was amazed at the number of birds that were in the zoo. It is very small, and...More

Lovely zoo considering it is a charity and not funded by Panama. A great range of animals, ranging from Polish chickens to sloths and a range of birds. The chickens, ducks and other little farm animals were running free throughout the Zoo, which made it...More

I'm not a huge fan of zoos but this was included in our full day tour. We did love the frog exhibit.

Most of the animals we saw were in dirty, barren cages. The raccoon exhibited extreme stress by manically darting back and forth in front of the cage cars. The two jaguars were in a barren cage with no visible shelter and simply lay there staring...More

I was horrified by this experience. I found it really depressing. So many animals kept in very small cages so humans can gawk at them! Pacing too and fro was a common sight - typical 'caged behaviour'. Many birds, such as the ostrich, had almost no...More

Well, I can only say: don't visit this place. I really don't know why we finally went there. There wasn't really anything good to show to our children and the only educational purpose this visit at the end had, was to show the kids that...More

When we arrived, we weren't sure, but when we got inside, it was so great, a lot of animals, lots of flowers, it was wonderful !

Our one year old had a blast here. Animals are well cared for and there is a lot of grass space for the kids to run and play.
