Best beach in the area. Often go here when staying in the area. Sand is good and water shallow enough for kids to play at the edge.

Easily accessable a short drive north of Santa Teresa and Malpais. Long stretched, great surfing, palmtrees, hundreds of pelicans flying by, the works!! Bring your own water and drinks. There is a secured parking and better to leave you valuables in the car then on...More

I've travelled extensively and can say this is the best beach in the world in my opinion! No bars/facilities just nature and lots of drift wood to build your own den and bring your surf board and cans of beers to enjoy the sunset with.

Spent a couple of days here. Nice big beach, not crowded and great for surfing. Good restaurant down the road too.

Always bring water, it is hot. You can only get around by 4x4 and quads or ATVs are best. There are places in town that rent if your accommodations does not. The food is excellent! Everything is farm to table no matter where... More
