I was totally surprised at how laid back and friendly the people are here. The restaurants are delicious and there are plenty of markets. The beach and views especially sunsets are amazing! The waves are a bit rough unless you are used to it or...More

Great white sand beach with gentle rolling waves on the inside even if surf is large. Lots of shade under the trees to set up camp for the day. A must to spend a day or at least an afternoon.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. It is also known for great waves for surfers. We visited while they were having a surf tournament with some amazing surfers. It was incredible.

Beautiful beach, beautiful sunsets. Watch it though, the surf is strong, great if you're a surfer, not an easy swimming beach otherwise.
