This is such a great beach, good for swimming, sunning, or surfing. I spent many days here during my stay. At night I would walk down the path from my hotel with a drink and sit and watch the surfers getting their last set of waves for the day. Very relaxing.

This is such an incredible coastline and the beach is amazing! It's nothing like most beaches in the US, so it was a complete surprise for us. We had seen many beaches, but this was just gorgeous and so different! It is so much fun to walk the beach and watch the surf break, the waves roll in, climb over... More

The beach is super nice and long, enough space for you to chill without being surrounded by crowds. The waves were small when we were there but super nice and fun. Had a blast in this place!

Awesome surf destination!!! Has all types of accommodations, restaurants, shops, bars and nightlife. The main street is unpaved so it can be a bit bumpy. Do not travel here without a four wheel drive vehicle. Expect to see a circus of dirt bikes, ATVs, bicycles, SUVs and pedestrians all zigzagging up and down the street trying to avoid pot holes.... Absolutely love Santa Teresa. This is my second trip here and can't wait to come back. Natural beauty. Great restaurants. Great surf. Warm people. Lots of international expats/transplants. You would never know what lies ahead by the condition of the roads getting there. A true oasis on the Nicoya peninsula.

Playa Santa Teresa is a gorgeous beach with white sand and big waves. I enjoyed attempting to surf and reading to the music of the waves crashing in. We watched the ocean swallow the sunset as experienced surfers rode the waves. It was a fantastic way to spend the evening, I definitely plan to return!

Great beach to surf. Low tide is great for less skilled surfers and high tide is great for more advanced folks. Get a lesson at jobbirs! Really helpful for beginners
