Location excellent. Enough off street parking. Love the history and herbal exposition for sale. Lady attendant was very friendly. The herbal aspect makes it unusual and worth a visit. The garden is the most interesting thing to see as for the rest, they sell herbs which is interesting but as a museum, not much to see or do there.

This is a good way to spend an hour. The exhibits are not extensive but interesting enough with local connections. I would have preferred more background on the origins and history of the town but it was worth a visit none the less

The Montagu musical society have wonderful concerts each month. We were treated to the delights of James Grace, probably South Africa's leading classical guitarist.
