This is a must do for people visiting Montagu. The tractor is a large 4 wheel drive, and the trailer that is used is comfortable. From the start at the farm house every guest is made to feel welcome. There is a container of fresh fruit for the guests to enjoy as the tractor winds its way up a seemingly... More

This was a fun and relaxing way to reach the mountain top and see wonderful 360 views of the Robertson and Koo valleys. Given more time and proper shoes I might have preferred to walk up. Its quite chilly at the top so dress warmly.

Fun thing to do. Very cold but we were forewarned. Fabulous views from the tractor ride. Should try and coincide with Protea flowering season

This is definitely something that you have to go and check out. When u are on the tractor and you are driving up and reaching the clear blue water halfway up where you can see the fish swim and that. When you get to the top you over look a amazing view. I have even seen somebody propose on top.... More

We have been told this is something not to be missed. And it was all that. It can be very cold up there but how amazing to experience that Ford 5000 tractor pull a trailer with probably 40 people up that mountain around sharp curves and on a narrow trail. Unreal. Myself and my son walked the last half of... More

Always a thrilling experience in spectacular scenery. Ice cold and bracing in the winter and warmed at the summit by local muscadel!!!

The drive up to the starting point is through a picturesque valley. Book in advance either for the tractor ride on a trailer or just the local cuisine (potjie kos). The local owner is the driver and the trip is exciting with spectacular vistas from the top. Halfway there is a mountain cabin for a stop to enjoy the the... More

We had a great day , the weather let us down and we could not see much , but it was still a great trip. The people organizing it know what they are doing and the maskedel we drank in the little cabin was a lifesaver! Ooo and the food is sooo yummy! Make sure if you book you also... More
