It's free and an interesting walk

We enjoyed the walk to the bridge and up and around the mount. Take good walking boots. It's not long, about half an hour. But interesting

Don't get me wrong, it was cool to see and a nice short Hike. Just not all that it is cracked up to be. It is on the way to Marokopa Falls so not out of the way if you are going there. The drive there can drive you crazy if you get stuck behind some inconsiderate slow driver that... More

This is an amazing natural phenomenon. The walk is very beautiful and easy. Once you reach the stairs it is very impressive to say the least. I think this is one of the most impressive sites I have seen and I can't believe it is free. It was really overwhelming. I absolutely loved it. Photos don't capture the beauty though.

A short, wonderful walk back into the bush to see this natural bridge. About 10 minutes round trip on a flat, well maintained trail that includes a swinging bridge, well placed viewing platforms and a wooden deck walkway above the river built into the sides of the vertical rock formations. The stairs to the viewing platforms are the only climbs... More

We drove out to see the Marokopa falls and stopped here on the way back. We had not seen any information about this so were surprised by the beauty of this spot - it felt like a well kept secret. The overhead rock formation and vegetation filter the light creaing an other worldly feel to this place. My daughter, an... More

This place is so beautiful, both day and night time. We went there at dusk and it might have been the most stunning place I've seen during the entire NZ trip. Had to go back the next day during daylight, almost just as stunning... Don't miss this place if you're around Waitomo.

Just 5 mins walk from the car park along an excellent path and well designed viewing staircase/platforms. Took me back to childhood books of mystery and adventure, inspiring for the imagination. Loved it!

This 'natural bridge' is actually a collapsed cave. Quite close to the car park it is an easy walk. But is a long way in the wrong direction if travelling from Waitomo, and the clockwise loop back up north takes a long time

A pretty cool place to visit if you're in the area. There is a short walk (5mins) to the natural bridge and some stairs to climb. Very accessible for those with children

This 'bridge' is made of stone that at one point in history formed a massive cave; the majority of the cave 'roof' has been eaten away by the weather and the remaining stone now forms a natural bridge overhead.
