Beautiful spot for a relaxing day with family and friends. A playground for the children to enjoy and of course lots of walking trails with the centre point, the beautiful lake which abounds with birdlife. Unfortunately the Kiosk was not open on the day we visited.

My wife and I go here most days to walk our dog and enjoy the peaceful bird life. The park is well maintained with plenty of seating and shade. The lakes are peaceful with lots of birdlife, that is very comfortable around people. There are board walks, gazebos, picnic and BBQ areas with gas stainless steel plates and modern toilets.... Tomato Lake is our local playground for excercise and relaxation. The lake has a cafe serving breakfast and lunch. It is about 1.6km, or 1 mile around, so perfect for jogging/walking, even rollerblading, if that is your thing. Lots of grassy areas and a bridge and pergola over the lake. There are wooded areas at the back and it is... More

We met up with friends out at Tomato Lake reserve a few weeks back and it was a lovely area for families and everyone really. Their kids played on the great playgrounds and ran around burning off steam and we enjoyed walking the paths, having a picnic and seeing all the fabulous water fowl and other wildlife. While we had... More

I grow up the area and my Dad use to row his canoe around the lake. I walk aroud the lake most week with a friend after having a nice cup of coffee. This time of year it is very exciting watching the new baby ducks and swans,
