We arrived at the end of a bumpy dirt road and walked down to the hill to find that we were alone on a beautiful yellow-red sand beach that seemed to go on for days. While it was too rough to swim there and there were rocks piled at either end, it was glorious to be walking in such a... More

The beach is entirely deserted and beautiful but signs warn of strong currents. Snorkelling is good.

Extremely beautiful being from the start. If you wait for the tide to come down you can even see these natural pools that are incrieble. Worth going

Lion Beach is one of the greatest beaches to see the views and enjoy different types of rocks ( at least 3) at the same place, not crowded it is a place for contemplation.

The beach is huge and empty, not far from souewest beach access. Turtles lay their eggs here as it is a huge beach. The currents and waves can be strong so be careful, on rough days good swimmers and or life jacket recommended. It is almost empty and goes on for a long way, perfect for a remote, beautiful, beach... More

Gorgeous, long beach, near Sancho and the Dois Irmaos (Two Brothers). To the far left, there is a trail that will give you a beautiful view of the Dois Irmaos. Respect nature, and do not swim in the pools.

The beach is amazing, but the water is very agitated and not appropriate for bath. I recommend to visit the place only and take some pictures.

We took a taxi here, and then walked back to Sueste Beach afterwards to get a ride back. Probably a 10 minute walk to get down to the beach and another 15 to walk to Sueste. It is a really pretty beach to see though, maybe the prettiest on the island. They don't want you swimming or even wading here... More

Very beautiful beach, but not swim friendly. There are lots of swells and it's very dangerous. Wouldn't recommend swimming there. Also, no shadows available.

In my humble opinion THIS is the true best beach in the island.! A smaller island on its front, many fishes and a small coral reef on its left side... a true Paradise!
