If you like seeing turtles go to Sueste!

I went to Baia do Sueste when I did the Ilha tour, in there we did snorkeling and we saw so many turtles!! It was beautiful! Totally worth it!

We went on a guided swim with turtles. One of the unforgettable moments I'll bring with me of this island. Having a professional local diver made us more worry free with the ocean and comfortable to be swimming for so long. Definitely recommend this ride!

This beach in the park, be sure you have your ticket, is the place you can rent snorkeling equipment and swim out along the rocky coast and find yourself in aquarium conditions full of fish. There are many green turtles there feeding on bottom vegetation. We saw one group of six as well as many swimming alone or in pairs.... More

I wasn't luck over there, but my friends saw many fishes, turtles and even sharks using snorkel over there. I recommend taking a guide, I didn't and regret after.

This beach is part of the National Park. That means you need to buy the ticket to have access to (see may comment about Baia do Sancho). To swim on the right side of beach ( where you can observe turtles, fishes and sharks) you must use life jackets ( you can rent them at the visitor's center just by... More

Amazing place to see the sunset in the island, there is a Lounge Bar near the beach. Excelent japanes food and cold bears. The place is beatiful, calm and relaxing.

Beautiful soft sand and gentle slope in this little bay. We played in the waves but others snorkled. One day we got out in respect of two agitated (and pregnant) lemon sharks. A little store and a little food at one side at street level, then one flight of easy stairs to the beach.

I was expecting a lot from this beach and was hoping to see much of the marine life there, but I ended up not seeing anything. The beach is not very good for swimming as well.
