We were expecting a train ride but did not know entertainment was included! We enjoyed listening to the many songs accompanied by a banjo. A group of seniors sitting a few seats in front of us sang along to a few tunes so that was fun. The train stops for a few minutes on the Trout Creek Trestle Railraod Bridge... More

Our family of 5 (baby,6&9) loved this historic train ride! We have been to the Penticton area many times, but had never heard of the railway until a billboard caught our eye on this trip. I am so glad we stopped!

It was not open the day we went there but it was still worth checking out the area. Great views of the trestles and views over to Summerland Ornamental Gardens.

Lots of fun. Sept. 18, 2016 was a perfect day. Beautiful scenery. The train was held up by a group of volunteers dressed as cowboys and cowgirls and Klondike show girls. Bring your sense of humour and some spare cash. The money raised by these people goes to local charities. Terrific BBQ after the ride.

90 minute journey aboard a 100+ year old steam train on a preserved section of railway through Summerland to the Trout Creek trestle bridge. Amazing views of the Okanagan and the canyon. There is historical commentary along the way and live music. A fun trip.
