We loved our trip to Cuba and could not miss vinales. Horseback riding, cigar rolling. Don't miss this quaint little town.

The schlep from Havana takes three hours so we regretted not staying overnight in the valley. We visited a tobacco farm and learned about how tobacco is cultivated and a lot about how it is prepared for rolling in cigars. At the farm we visited...More

Vinales is a must for Cuba. The only problem: infrastructures are quite overflown by the growing amount of tourists: impssible to book motorcycles, necessity to book some excursions in advance, long queues in front of the Information center.

Valle de Vinales is definitely worth visiting. We stayed there for two days and made a 5-hours tour with horses (higly recommended) and visited Cuevas de Santo Tomas.

If you like the country side, this is the place to come. All around is green and the dirt looks like copper red. It rained just about every other day. This a very quiet area - perfect if you want peace and tranquility.
