Beauty, peace and total tranquillity. Free from crowds and cruisers. We stayed locally so walked to the beach, an easy stroll for us, though the steps down could deter some. Well worth it if you can manage. Enjoy the crashing breakers and wonder at the fossils in the rocks, oh and stop at the stall to enjoy a coconut or... More

Worth a trip out in your car to see stunning views. So relaxing a peaceful, great place to take a cool bag full of banks and a homemade picnic

What a beautiful beach! Best coconut Rum punch on the island is found here! The view from above is stunning, a must see.

Take a trip and visit the gems scattered in this area. Too rough to swim but the most beautiful beaches around. Grab a rum punch in a coconut from a local vendor. Sit back and enjoy the panoramas

My favorite beach in Barbados. The palm trees, color of the water and most importantly the fact that there is relatively no one there other than the locals who will climb a tree a pick a fresh coconut for you or rent you beach chair. It is on the East side of the island so the currents are too strong... More

I have to pre-phase this by stating that I highly enjoy places not overrun with tourist and touristy things. I can see the conflict of this when I am also a tourist, but I digress. Bottom Bay feels like the beach you wash ashore after your plane or ship takes a trip to the bottom of the ocean. The water... More

If you are to go to Barbados you really are going to be missing out if you don't hire a car and get out and discover the real Barbados. Bottom Bay has one of the best beaches on the island and really is a hidden treasure and when we went we were the only people there. It's difficult to find,... More

I read the reviews and expected under 10 people but on no! The place got really busy. Noisy children and loud couples. On the plus side cheap sun loungers. It's windy and we were warned not to swim. Others maybe didn't know this as they swam....judging by the size of the waves and the current it seemed foolish

This little nook of a beach was quite an adventure to find as it is on the east coast. The palm trees and view from above are lovely. Unfortunately, when we were there in April 2015, this beach, like most on the island, was covered in seaweed. Perhaps another time....
