This beach was so highly rated we made a special detour just to go see what the hype was about. It really is a beautiful spot in a secluded area. You take steps down to the beach, which is relatively small. There are some interesting...More

Beautiful beach. Only us and a couple of others. One local man on the beach climbs the palm trees to cut you down a fresh coconut. Perfect

This is a beautiful beach! It's off the beaten path and as a result does not get a lot of traffic. We visited and there were only 3 other people there. The guys at the top of the stairs will try and sell you drinks...More

After stopping at Sam Lords Castle also a good place to explore, we headed up to Bottom Bay. The water was too ruff to swim in, but the location is so pretty. I would recommend this as part of day trip up the coast.

we came here because of tripadvisor reviews. undoubtedly, the setting is absolutely beautiful. it was very quiet, and private. only a few other tourists were there at the time. that said, the flies were ridiculous and hard to avoid. two seemingly quarreling locals tried to...More

Beautiful setting for pictures! The sea is the blue turquoise you dream of and the waters are calmer even though it is on the Atlantic side.

One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen and it’s not crowded at all here. Walk down the steps to the beach and/or take the path to the top of the cliff on the right side. It’s too scenic to put into words, so...More

This beach is past ‘wellhouse’. We took the car but is also accessible by bus with a little walk. You go down about 40 steps to get to the beach. There are rentable loungers there and a guy sells drinks out of coconut’s. The sea...More

During our stay in Barbados we very much wanted to visit Bottom Bay. We had been there once before, 22 years ago, and at the time we were struck by its beauty; and so we wanted to revisit it on this trip. I remember it...More

I thought really hard about posting this as the beach is probably the most authentic on the island and well worth a visit- but don’t all go at once and spoil the peace!!

The road is kind of off-road and really rough yet you drive literally through residential areas until you make it to a small parking "lot" on the rocks/dirt (can't miss it). I don't recall the signs, we used the google maps... More

i would look into Sapphire Beach condos. We just stayed there and we know the owners of a few condos. Very safe, Guards on duty, gated. Nice restaurants very close. Feel free to ask me for more details.
