Visited with a 10 year old fascinated by the lacemaking demonstration at Blists Hill Victorian Village. The exhibits are stored in glass cabinets but are still very viewable. The volunteer staff were very kind and helpful to my 10 year old and we left with...More

welcolming and a fabulous exhibition - demonstrator was interesting and knowledgeable. I suppose it is quite specialist and must enjoy looking at truly inspiring lace made using different methods of making it. Visit can be twinned with a visit to Red House Cone Glass museum...More

the Ladies take care of you when entering the building, and share the local history of lace making also give demonstrations on the art of making lace
