Family-run watch and clock museum, gift shop and specialist watch and clock repairers. The museum is centred around the local children's stories of Mr George the clock man written by Diana Bell which are based on her father who was a watch and clock repairer in Northumberland. The museum which is spread across four rooms also showcases Diana's fascinating collection of watches and clocks through the ages and repairer's tools and parts and also has activities for children throughout. The gift shop stocks a range of novelty toys, fairtrade gifts, restored antique clocks and more! Watch and clock repairs are also undertaken by Diana herself and free estimates are given on all jobs.

I loved my visit. Many museums are boring. This is not. Its concept is brilliant - its foundation as a timepiece repairer has been built upon by the daughter of its founder. She displays an array of wall, case, alarm and mantle clocks as well...More

We came across this Museum by chance and received a warm welcome by the Owner. The items displayed are very interesting and there was a lot that one could learn about both clocks and watches. Well worth a visit!
