Lovely setting even though it poured with rain on our visit - plenty of umbrellas luckily! Excellent vineyard and owners very knowledgeable. Very good English wine and fizz sampled and bought.

Visited with a Travelzoo voucher and while the tour was interesting, passionately done and informative, we were disappointed with the tastings. The sample sizes really didn't give you a chance to try each wine, as we've experienced elsewhere and there was only one we liked,...More

It is always good to receive feedback. Wine tasting is subjective and of course we do not expect every visitor to like our wines and the size of a sample tasting is standard but can be varied if requested, as is occasionally the case. Please...More

My wife and I previously visited with a Travelzoo voucher supplied by our children as a present. The day of the Wine tour arrived and it was windy and raining but we braved the weather and apart from not tasting any wine because i was...More

We arrived early and as it was a nice day we decided to have lunch - a ploughman’s, cheese and biscuits, pate - sounded very nice but for the money it was very menial and disappointing. In Devon a ploughman’s is a ploughman’s - this...More

It is always good to receive reviews even if disappointing. Our website does state that ‘light refreshments’ are available, ancillary to our wine and we believe well priced. as reviewed on this site on 9 July. You do not illuminate why the ploughman's was not...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our vineyard tour this afternoon due to the beautiful Devon countryside, the relaxed and personal nature of the tour and tasting session conducted by the owners. This is a very small family business producing excellent quality English wines through their passion, commitment...More

A refreshing change from the over-commercialized large growth vineyard experience. This is an intimate tour of a small scale producer, whose passion for producing good wine is not dependent on anticipated profits. Excellent and insightful!

Unlike other vineyard tours (UK & abroad) the tour of Lily Farm Vineyard is very informative. Learned a great deal about vineyards in general and of course about English homegrown grapes and wines. The owner gives an interesting talk about how he and his family...More

Hidden down a lovely country lane this little vineyard exceeded all expectations and was a really interesting visit. We learnt out how the vines are grown and then the process of keeping them healthy to produce a fantastic selection of wines which we sampled and...More

We visited Lily Farm while on holiday in Exmouth and really enjoyed our afternoon tour and wine tasting. Having experienced wine tasting and winery tours all over the world I thought I knew what to expect but this was so much more! We were surprised...More

‘The best things come in small packages’ so they say - and this vineyard is no exception. The 45 minute tour was exceptional with a very informative commentary by the owner, following his story of the original purchase of the land to what it has...More

It’s very family friendly. The slopes are fairly wide but quite steep. A sling might be better than a buggy for babies. The tour was informal and friendly and the base/car park always in sight if you did need to leave the... More
