WOW - what a wonderful pairing lunch! We were fortunate to be able to dine al fresco on a beautiful October day, and enjoyed being under the natural canopy of grape vines and ficus. The garden is lovely and being outside, enjoying a selection of white and red wines along with the superb food, was sublime.
Lunch began with a selection of three different pates with acompanying bread and a fresh tomato salad, paired with two light white wines. Delcious! What followed was equally fabulous - a baked then lightly fried whole potato with both an aoli and red pepper sauce, accompanied by two lovely red wines. Again….delicious! Then we opted for salmon which was served with another superb sauce and fennel. We eat a lot of salmon at home and thought this was among the best we have tasted. Again we enjoyed two more red wines before dessert was served. Do NOT miss out on dessert. It’s worth saving just a bit of room for it.
Everyone we met who was associated with this lovely winery and restaurant was very nice and eager to tell us about their wines.
It was a perfect lunch which made our perfect day even better!

Amazing food and wine experience! Four course meal (starter, salad, main course and dessert) accompanied by two whites and two reds. When we arrived, the host was busy with a large group of french tourists and asked us to wait for half an hour in the garden; while waiting, we were served some light snacks (olives, cheese) accompanied by lovely Viognier! Every meal and wine were thoroughly explained. The people working there are really knowledgeable and passionate about the winemaking. After the meal, we were shown the production rooms and the cellar that once was the underground water reservoir for the estate. And we were offered another red! We stayed there for over 3 hours and truly enjoyed every minute!

Just went for a wine tasting. Very very poor for 21e..they seemed to want to get us out of the way as soon as possible. If you dont want to go down the steps to the celler (not worth it) its 18e. We were there a mere 45 minutes. There are many wineries in El priorat that I have visited and all much much better than this one. Even some that charged only 6e were far better. Would not recommend. Not worth the money at all.

Good afternoon Albert, surely there is a MISTAKE! €3 to go down to the cellar? Surely there is some confusion because we do not charge €3 to go down the stairs to access the wine cellar! I can even tell you that I personally do the tours free of charge when it comes only to show our winery. It is a great pleasure to be able to receive people interested in the wines that we make in Priorat. When we do the wine tasting, we taste the three reds: Clos Figueres, Font de la Figuera and Serras del Priorat. Also the two whites: Font de la Figuera blanc and Serras del Priorat blanc... then we are pleased to do a tasting of our own Clos Figueras extra virgin oil, 100% arbequina. We are very sincerely sorry for your discomfort and we can only invite you back to Celler Clos Figueras when you have a new opportunity to visit Priorat. It was a pleasure to greet you personally during your visit to Clos Figueras. We wait for you again!!

We didn't just love the food here, but service was fine, and it's in a very easy to find location immediately in the village of Gratallops. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with a beautiful courtyard including a vine topped pergola over the tables. We were lucky to find it nearly empty one weekday and had a leisurely lunch.

Very nice place. The right food and very home service, which is appreciated in front of some services over acted. The right food, good meat treatment. We recommend the terrace in spring and autumn.

Had an amazing lunch accompanied by their equally excellent wines. Beautiful garden setting for an al fresco lunch. Their white wine was a positive surprise in a region that have so many excellent reds!

Book a lunch/tour reservation. It’s the best food in Priorat with stand-out wine to boot...all conveniently located in Gratallops. There is absolutely no reason to miss Clos Figueras.

Cozy ancient building, with an old touch. Rooms with a beautiful views, of the wine yards. You can eat outside, under the pergola or inside the restaurant, where you can taste the local cuisine and excellent wines from their own cellar. Friendly staff in a place to disconnect and spend a lovely time.

Our wine tasting group were visiting Priorat and I arranged a tasting and lunch for us at Clos Figeras. We arrived late due to a power cut in Scala Dei earlier in the day which made our visit there slower than usual. Our tasting was a bit piecemeal as another tasting was overlapping but the wines we tasted were superb. Our lunch afterwards was a highlight of our trip, wonderful appetizer of tomato garlic and olive oil bread. Sharing boards of sausages and excellent main courses, my lamb cutlets were excellent. Paradoxically the lunch service was very slow, I had hoped to catch up time but were again delayed for our next tasting visit, ah well. I recommend leaving plenty of time for this experience, it is worth it. Everyone left very satisfied having tasted excellent wines and a great lunch. Many thanks.

We came here for a tasting followed by lunch. We were outside for the tasting which was lush as it was warm and sunny. The lady doing the tasting seemed obviously annoyed with us for some reason (ok we were a little bit late...)and the tasting portions were a little less than we had had previously.
The lunch redeemed this though. First off the bread - rubbing on your garlic, the juicy tomatoes and the yum olive oil then salt made for a different and delightful starter.
The rest of the meal followed suit and we were suitably stuffed by the end!
