The grotto is very beautiful and worth visiting. You must tour with a guide. Translation earphones are available. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take photos.

Worth a visit to the cave. Lots of h Good restaurants around the little streets. Just seen the questions below .....why do I have to answer questions about dress codes and headscarves, this is a christian country.

The caves themselves are cool but you are not allowed in without going on one of the guided tours (available on headsets in many languages). The tours are only at specific times, cost 9 euros and take 50 minutes. Plus you are constantly being reminded...More

Make sure you book in advance because sots are not always available as number of visitors to the caves is limited. I have been to other caves around Europe and this one is something special. The combination of deposits, caverns and underground water is amazing....More

Don’t attempt this if you have bad knees, are unsteady on your feet or if you are unfit. On arrival you are given a headset to correspond with your language. Soon you are inside the caves which are spectacular.to see. Underground caves, lakes and rivers....More

We found them by mistake. The town is beautiful, cute “white town” with all buildings white and yellow. The caverns were amazing and huge (for those that are claustrophobic there is no problem). We walked for an hour and it seemed like 20 minuets only....More
