We experienced the 3 hour trek yesterday and had an absolutely brilliant time. Our party was 1 adult and 2 children aged 15 and 11. Our guide/instructor was very helpful and matched us up with the appropriate horse to our individual experience.
Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but he spoke very good English. We went on an advanced trek so we were able to trot and gallop. The scenery was stunning. The 3 hours went by so very quickly, we would do it again if we were staying in the area longer. Thank you so much for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Enjoyable horseback ride through the hill area. The ride is at a slow pace with only a few chances to trot, which was good for the beginners. Horses were very well trained and could accommodate those with no riding experience. Instructor was great and was very accommodating to the only non English speaking couple of the group. Instructor's English was excellent and made us feel very welcome to the French speaking group.
Overall, recommend as a laid back leisurely activity.

Excellent place to do horse riding. We (me and my two kids of 14 and 15) took the sportive trip of three hours for experienced riders and loved it. The nature trip is beautiful with sweeping vistas and narrow creeks and the trip is best enjoyed if you a comfortable on a horse at all speeds. What I loved most is how well the horses are taken care of. The horses are beautiful, energetic, social and very active, so you really get to enjoy a great riding experience on a horse that is enjoying itself too. Jules, the guide, is a great guy with lots of patience and switches between English and French easily. The material (saddles and helmets) are good quality. So if you like horse riding in nature, this is your place.

Our group of four had a very pleasant morning ride in early August. On arrival the horses were all tacked up and ready to go. The ride took us through some great countryside with some spectacular views and one fun feature was a walk down a stream that had been filled up by overnight thunderstorms. The horses were in great condition and seemed to enjoy the canters as much as we did.

It was a sedate hack with mostly walking and the odd canter but the views were exceptional in the early evening light. Just go! I don't even like riding much and even so would thoroughly recommend it.

I had a fabulous trail ride with Jules Janssaud and his lovely horses. Would highly recommend! The horses appeared to be happy and healthy and well cared for!

Provence has wine, olives, and lavender, but nothing beats horseback riding in Forcalquier for experiencing this area to its fullest. Beautiful horses and a lovely trail through the pristine terrain combine for a great experience. Jules is engaging and interesting. He speaks excellent English (with an Australian accent, no less). We got to see his family's historic stone maison, and we got to visit and pet the cuddly foals!

We had a beautiful day at the Equestre Janssaud.
Juil was our guide, with his lovely 10year old daughter.
It was a very wholesome day and made our whole weekend special.
The setting is amazing and the guides were very exowrienced and welcoming.
The horses are strong and healthy with good energy for levels of riding.
Highly recommended.
We will be back for a 7day outride soon.
Great way to see the French countryside.

My wife and our 5 kids had a great afternoon - we have only been horseback riding once before and the horses were very friendly / well trained. Communications and booking w /Jules was in english (which was a plus) & timely - it made planning our trip to France (from Toronto, Canada) that much easier. Great views of the country side, valley & mountains - everyone had a great experience!

When we arrived at the stables they were very good at putting you on a horse depending on your ability. We had an 8 year old to a 69 year old and 4 people in between their ages, they were put on the horses (starting off a bit nervous) but after getting on had a ball and felt completely secure! We could completely trust the horse; therefore you were able to take in the STUNNING view.
We rode for about 2 hours and had a little break where we had pictures taken and selfies done! The horses performed amazingly up and down some challenging terrain needing little instruction as they all followed the horse in front of them!
Overall the feeling of it was welcoming and the horses had a lovely temperament!

je vous répond un peu tard mais il est tout fait possible d’emmener un appareil photos pendant la sortie; si il n'est pas trop gros et si vous vous sentez suffisamment à l'aise pour tenir votre cheval et prendre des photos en meme temps.
