Har Ki Pauri, in the evening, is alive with chants and lighted lamps at the banks of Ganga River. The atmosphere becomes mesmeric and transports you to another world. Must visit.

Try to go early morning for any pooja. Evening time is extremely chaotic. All temples are worth visiting. Carry water and food stuff. Don't buy any food item here. Beware of fake pandits. Enquire at Ganga Seva Samiti which has office at Har ki Paudi.
