Beautiful turquoise water. White sand. Lined with cafes and restaurants. This beach is idyllic! And the best part is the activities on offer. Kite surfing and scuba diving are available right there. And if the wind isn't working, it's a great beach to run on;...More

It was a great stretch of beach, but quite a bit of debris. Was glad to see and meet a lot of locals during my evening strolls on the beach.

The beach itself has the finest white powder sand I've ever experienced. The water is clear and warm. However the ever present beach boys patrol here looking for a scam as they do everywhere in Zanzibar

Very nice beach popular with kite surfers. Loads of friendly people and beach restaurant options. Affordable beach accommodation which caters for the beach community. The place to be to for watersports and beach activities.

OK, there is one store with basic supplies and liquor store an green market in village which you pass through on way from beach to stores. No ice, and it is better that way. Avoid ice or any form of non bottled water.
