I would recommend Zanzibar Watersports to everyone. From start to finish it was perfect. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were checked in quickly and then escorted to the dhow to Mnemba reef. I did the "Discover Dive." It was my first time, and I was really nervous. Shida, my DSD leader, explained everything and made me feel... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my half day/two dive trip to Mnemba island with Zanzibar Watersports. The trip to beautiful Mnemba and its pristine coral was scenic and relaxed on a traditional dhow. The visibility in the water was upwards of 30m and the variety of species was very good indeed. The Dive masters were very professional and in particular had great local... More

They hype it up to be some of the best in the world... yet our experience was sub par. The boat ride to Mnemba is nearly 2 hours, so empty your bladder beforehand!!! The sea can be rough on the way, two ladies almost got washed away on a dunk in the water to pee! They hyped up the dolphin... More

We did a 4-dive trip spread over two days with Zanzibar Watersports. We had a great experience and the guides did a great job of showing us different and unique reefs around the area.

We opt for snorkeling at Mnemba island. One of our friends did scuba diving and he loved it. The water and the coral is just amazing. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. We were never informed on anything during the trip. If the boat stopped they immediately engaged the divers and got them in the water. We had... More

Dear Mr Leandre, Whilst we offer both diving and snorkelling together on the same boat, so as to offer the opportunity for families and groups together to be together on the same boat, it is sometimes hard to please both parties. We have acknowledged your feed back below and will do our utmost to better the services provided to snorkelers.... More

Being a certified Open Water Diver, i opted to do my Advance Open Water Certification with Zanzibar Watersports. And the experience was really good. My instructor Nacho was simply excellent. He had a keen sense on safety and learning while sharing lots of local knowledge. The equipment is also in good condition, but the boats maybe something Zanzibar Watersports may... More

We only had one day for diving and chose Zanzibar Watersports. They took us to the island on the east side which meant an hour and a half slow boat drive. I'd recommend getting the fast boat if you're in a hurry. We were the only divers on the boat, so we had a private dive excursion.

We went for Discover Scuba Diving with them, the instructor was very patient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a fantastic experience for us. I and my partner are not very confident with water sports, he still managed to show the amazing sealife at Mnemba. This was experience of lifetime, one that we will hold dear forever.... More

My sister and I initially did the discovery scuba dive with this company and liked it so much we decided to do our scuba certification with them. We had done discover scuba with other companies in Europe and this was the only one who told us the basic rule of scuba of breathing continuously and not holding your breath. The... More

We went on a half day snorkelling trip to Tumbatu and enjoyed every minute. You feel well looked after and they even gave us dive suits to wear as it was jelly fish season. We saw lots of fish and beautiful coral and were allowed plenty of time in the water. Well worth it.
