Beautiful beach on the Bondi-Coogee walk. Wide and sandy, with big waves and plenty of space to swim. Gets quite crowded. Plenty of amenities available.

My partner and I like to get there as early as possible, so 7ish. We always have a little brekkie and into the water we go. We prefer the ocean pool. I don't swim much, but I do love the cool water and taking it all it - the sights, sounds. Then we the coastal walk to Clovelly. Perfect start to the day!

Beautiful beach and walk to Bondi, one of our favourite parts of Sydney. Took about half an hour and my children (aged 13 & 19) loved it.

Bronte is a much smaller version of Bondi, but the beach and water are just as beautiful If you'd prefer a quieter space to relax, give Bronte a try. The beach is beautiful and clean, patrolled by those world famous Bondi Rescue lifeguards, and has a gorgeous park behind the beach if sand is not your thing.

Bronte also boasts a few lovely cafes for breakfast or lunch.

Looks like a beautiful family beach and not disappointing at all.

Not too rough with everything there for a great day at the beach

Bronte. Beach located in Nelson Bay is one of the better beaches along this section of coastline and is only 7 km from the centre of Sydney. Much better than Bondi. Way back Viscount Sherbrooke owned 17 HA of land along the coast, built a house that he called Bronte House after Lord Nelson who just happened to be the Duke of Bronte, a place in Sicily Italy. Take the 6 km walk from Coogee to Bondi and stop a while in Bronte.

The next beach you come to on the coastal path between Bondi beach and Coogee after Tamarama beach is Bronte beach. Again, beautiful soft sand, breaking waves onto the beach house and pleasant facilities such as restrooms, showers, drinking water points and shaded picnic areas including BBQ stations.
