Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but slowly getting crowded

I visited this place both in Feb 2009 and Feb 2017. Most plots of land are being filled with apartment buildings. There are some restaurants in the area. You do not need a car AT ALL if you are ok with having 6-7 restaurant options. The beach is quiet, and mostly filled with families. During the morning is more relaxing. Do not recall seeing groups of only young people (18-30). Usually couples or whole families with kids, elders, etc. We spent 10 days, we took a few trips to Bombinhas (which is way more crowded in comparisson). Our main tasks were eating, playing in the water with our kids, and talk. The group consisted of my parents, my nephews, my sister and her partner. Kids can go in the water, but need supervision of an adult. Ours were 4 and 6, and with 1 adult there to make sure they did not drank the water or attempt to go deep, everything was fine. The slope is very low so you need to walk a lot in the water for it to get deep. Watch out, wifi is almost non existant. Getting a working SIM card for data in Brazil is still very complicated. We solved the issue, by walking downtown, getting the wifi password from a few bars (some were even open) and just walking past them to 'pick up' the messages. If you need to be connected 24/7, places that have wifi tend to be WAY more pricy. Crowded with Argentineans. Mostly Argentineans i would say. Recommendation 1: Do your best to stay as close to the beach as possible. You avoid having to spend all day there. You can go to your own bathroom, or go for lunch, have a nap and return. It's well worth the extra $. Recommendation 2: If you are skipping the beach from 12-4pm you can do without a sun shade. They are rented on the beach, but makes more sense to buy if you are spending more than 4-5 days. Same with chairs.

Had the best time here with my family in January. Often found the beach empty during morning walks and afternoons were never too packed. Always felt safe and had endless beautiful views.

Far from the main road, it takes a lot of traffic jam to get there, but it`s very nice. Calmer than Bombas or Bombinhas.

Rowing a cayak, a stand up paddle or stroll along the beach. The sunset is beatiful from this beach.

This is a unique place in the municipality of Bombinhas. Its calm waters make it the ideal place for aquatic enthusiasts. It is possible to walk along the sand strip for several kilometers. And the sunset is beautiful there.

I found the best bombinhas beach, a large strip of sand. Good service at the waterfront restaurants. Clean water, not muvuca.

Nice beach to rest. The Canto Grande neighborhood is very quiet and is developing with a fairly orderly and neat urbanization.

It's a family beach, cozy, intimate, wonderful sea, good options for eating. There could be more variety to eat at the seaside and at better prices. The only caveat is that the seaside is very expensive and does not match the quality and quantity.

It is very beautiful, but needs more care. The part on the left side of the shed is full of rubbish and a horrible mess of pee.
The sunset here is truly incredible.
The beach has calm waters and very few waves.
