Very cheap way to explore surrounding islands of Puerto Rico. But be prepared to be there early. If you want to take the 9am ferry be there at least at 8am (unless you book your tickets online)! It is a long wait to get the tickets and board the ferry. The return ticket to Culebra is only $4.50 and there... More

We travelled from Fajardo to Culebra to spend the day on the island. The ferry is a very comfortable way to get to the island and very reasonable $4.50 return trip per person. The trip took less than an hour, we were very satisfied with the ferry and price.

We were parked and at the ticket office by 7:40 am. No wait for tickets. Plenty of time to get a breakfast sandwich before scheduled 9:00am departure, especially since we did not depart until abut 10:00am. Very nice that seniors got the front of the line as well as a place to sit while waiting for departure. In the municipal... More

We took the ferry and is cheapest way to get Vieques or Culebra island. We also search flights from Ceiba airport but the prices was around 50 per person per ride, a little expensive for us. To avoid lines and sol out tickets we used ViequesFerryTickets site and we picked up our tickets in San Juan. We recommend this way... More

$2 to Vieques and $2,50 to Culebra, that says everything; I could reserve in advance for Vieques and buy the same departing day for Culebra.

We showed up at 8a to buy tickets for the 9a ferry from Fajardo to Culebra. There was lots of standing in line and the ride itself was over an hour, but for $2.25 each way, this is a good deal. You could buy a ticket online or in person in advance to avoid some of the long wait.

This one of the cheapest boat trips I've ever taken. Think the ferry to Culebra is the best as it is the gateway to Flamenco Beach ranked as one ot the top beaches in the world. Beware you better get your ferry tickets well in advance as the demand is great. During the winter months the ride can be pretty... More

Fast trip to Culebra. The staff is nice and courteous. Make sure you take sea sickness pills if going on a windy day!

We got there, after a $100 taxi ride from San Juan, at 8:30 a.m.. Tickets for the 9:00 a.m. ferry were all sold out, but thanks to a fellow passenger we learned that seniors get to skip the line. So we got our tickets, and hung out for four hours. There isn't much to do in Fajardo. We left, late,... More

Try to get your tickets online well in advance. You can buy tickets on the day of travel at the ferry terminal but the ferry sells out and you may not get a ticket. Once you have a ticket, just line up in the corral and be patient because they are on "island time".
