Good staring point for kayak tours to bio bay, but not a good swimming beach. Nice park, good restaurants around it, nice views in daytime.

We felt safe and accepted in the Las Croabas Lagoon area. While we did not partake in the Bio Bay tours or other local tours we were impressed that the tour companies did NOT pressure us to try their activities, like we had experienced in many island/tourist locations. Might get more people wandering out to Las Croabas Lagoon if you... More

Take a boat tour and have fun playing in the water using hands, feet and rods. At night the bioluminescent is magical.

All knack tours leave from here. You will see many companies. There are several eateries in the area. There is also a playground for kids. There are several benches and rock where you can sit an few the water and all the little islands and rock formations. This area is very old, so looks a bit shabby.

This area is very peaceful, only allowing to go in kayak or boat, no swimming allowed because of the minerals in the water. Kayak was easy to follow with daylight.

Some friends and I decided to take a trip to Las Croabas. Is a pity that there was a lot of garbage in the water and it was awfully smelly. Though pastelillos at Racar Seafood were very good.

Las Croabas is a just a few minutes drive but a world away from the resorts around Fajardo and Luquillo. Fishermen, boaters and locals are everywhere and line the parking lots with BBQ grills and coolers. The bars are local watering holes but are welcoming to visitors. Kasavista is a great option for food.

Years back this was one of the best adventures here but due to the weather last season and all the users now it has gotten bad. It is a hit or miss if you see anything at all. I go out with my own kayak and last 3 times I am glad it was FREE. Saw very few.

Plenty of vendors for kyack rentals and other water sports. Good place for young children or if just want to lie out in sun.
