At first I wasn't that impressed when we pulled up to get on the boat. There were so many people and only 2 boats. You are packed on the boats like rats, however you go out into the lagoon and you do have to jump in the water. The water was murky but our captain assured us that nothing lived... More

The Lagoon was absolutely amazing to see the word illuminate As you move in the water was spectacular. Mother Nature at its best. Never saw anything like this before but encourage people to go out to see the Luminous Lagoon. The water was nice and warm. Because it's pitch black your mind will do tricks on you but there are... We were told by our tour that it was a private tour as there was 11 of us. We expected there to be a few other groups similar to ours. We were also told it was a 3 hour trip pick up at 6pm and back at the hotel by 9pm. We arrived to nearly 200 people there I only... More

Went there with 2 teenagers- boys, and Hubby and we all enjoyed the experience. We ate at the restaurant, the service we received was great, food was average, bartender awesome. The manager was wonderful.

Completely impressed! This phenomenon is mesmerizing! They allow you to get in the water,, no matter how good of a swimmer you are, say yes to a life jacket. Only so you can float and not put your feet in the mud. It's creepy! :)

We went on this tour as we had read about it previously. We weren't expecting much but what we saw and experienced was amazing. We didn't get in the water to swim although we could have but the guide was very informative and great with the children

This is an amazing place to visit. We went with our 13 year old son and he was just as amazed as we were. The guides were wonderful and the show afterwards was great. This is a must we visiting Jamaica.

The Glistening Waters Hotel is a great place to stay. Located on Oyster Bay, east of Famouth Trelawny, the hotel is an undiscovered gem. The rooms are immaculate and most offer a view of the Caribbean Sea. Rates are reasonable and include a sumptuous breakfast which offers standard fare or classic Jamaican dishes. The hotel is owned by Jamaican nationals... More
