Beautiful city with little cobbled streets and amazing views down onto the harbour! The Bastion gives you some of the best views over Bonafacio and is an interesting part of history. If visiting I would recommend taking a packed lunch as restaurants are extremely pricey!

As you walk up to the citadel from the port, this is the first thing you come to as you enter the citadel. It is worth the small price. (2.50 Euro or combined ticket with escalier du Roy for 3.50). Fabulous views and some interesting...More

I think everyone agrees that Bonifacio is a beautiful city, perfect to wander around through the little streets and just discover the city with its restaurants and little shops. Beside this, there is not so much really to visit. One of the only real monuments...More

Bonifacio has a beautiful, well-protected harbor. We enjoyed a lovely tour by boat of the harbor and around the shore along the limestone formations and into a grotto. The bastion and the village on top of the cliffs have amazing views. The hillside village is...More

having toured Corsica recently on a motorcycle, I was simply enthralled by this beautiful clifftop village over looking the Med with the island of Sardinia to the south of it. In my humble opinion it is one of the most stunning part of Corsica which...More

The entrance fee is only 2.5 euros which is good value. The site is large with excellent views of Bonifacio and surrounding waters from different viewpoints. There are interpretative signs about the site which give you a glimpse into the history of Bonifacio and its...More

There is a small charge to get in here but you wont regret it. Amazing views of the citadel and the surrounding area. Plenty of history about the fortification and just a really great attraction.
