One of the Beach on Samed island, there are good resort, hotel ,and bar along this beach, but it too crowded many traveller come and stop at this beach if you want to be private go to another beach next to it

The army makes sure rules are followed and it is the cleanest beach and sea i have seen this side of thailand.

I think it's fit your children's ages well. You can have a boat trip to the island around (very nice) and you can have full day at the western beach. So if you plan your time mix this things, it can be great holiday
