If you read the reviews and go with low expectations of a small lagoon then you're bound to enjoy it. It was actually bigger than we expected after being told it was tiny, but it isn't a lagoon, it's a river. The water is pretty...More

Would be gorgeous and picturesque if less busy. Lots of tour groups. Lagoon is small, cold and refreshing. Fun to jump in and swing on the rope. Would be cool if the slides etc were included in the price.

The lagoon was nice and we had fun jumping off the tree into the pool, the cave at the top was the highlight as it was large and easy to explore. However, it was extremely crowded and I would recommend moving on to the third...More

No blue to be seen but we were there in rainy season. A bit of a bizarre trip as it's got a full on pizza pasta restaurant at the entrance- not at all what we were expecting. The saving grace were the jumps from the...More

So we rolled up here one afternoon and decided to take a dip. We hadn't really researched it before hand so we didn't actually know there were caves here aswell. We spent the afternoon swimming and jumping in the lagoon from the tree. We managed...More

This was a major letdown in Vang Vieng. I know you can't control the amount of visitors but the area is spoilt by how many are there. We went at 8am thinking we will beat any crowds but I've never seen so many people in...More

Arrived here by motorbikes, it cost 10,000 lak each. Not sure it was worth the price. There are not many places to sit along the water as you have to pay for a sheltered hut. The water was nice to swim in but there are...More

Probably unfair to say but I would imagine that Blue Lagoon 3 would be quite nice if it wasn't so popular with both locals and tourists. When visited the place was seriously crowded and although people were having fun it did spoil the ambience as...More

We went to the lagoon in low season and the place was still quite crowded and partially artificial. However it is a fun place to spend some hours. There were a few locals and we enjoyed sharing the swing and the diving board with them.

We went to the blue lagoon as part of an all day tour so do not know the price of entry to the lagoon. Most people seem to travel there by mini van or motor bike, though we did pass plenty of locals on push bike. The road... More

Hi Oliver, I am reading that it is a bumpy road out to the lagoon, but it sounds like you took the buggies? I was thinking of taking a scooter, but buggies would be better if available. Can you confirm? Also how much to hire a buggy for a day? Cheers, Paul.

I also recommend to hire a driver with a vehicle, too. The road was rough and full of the dust.
