The cave contains beautiful Stalagmites and stalactites. You need to climb 147 steps in order to reach the entrance of the cave. The view of the rice fields and Song river is also worth climbing.

We decided to visit the Tham Chang Cave (Jang Cave) on a rainy Laos day. It is an easy 15-20 minute walk (at a slow pace) from the wooden toll bridge in the Vang Vieng townsite. To reach the cave you must pay to cross...More

I'm not sure what you guys expect from this cave but for me there is nothing inside. We pay 70,000 K. For entrance fee + local guide. Low air inside the cave and the route itself a bit slippery and dark. Moreover, there are many...More

U need to climb up a long flight of stairs to get to the cave entrance. The cave is well-lit inside , which is not the case with many other caves in Vang Vieng, hence it is quite popular with the locals.

The cave is about a half hour walk from the middle of Vang Vieng. Nothing mind blowing, but I thought it was worth exploring on a slow day. Some steep stairs up to the cave entrance, and it's fairly well lit inside although I brought...More

It's a good taster if you'd never been in a cave before, there is also a built in path you can follow which makes it less risky to walk. There is no need to pay for a guide though - it's pretty self-explanatory
