Starting at Glacier Point, this hike takes you to the Valley floor via Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls. Not a crowded hike, but one of the most scenic.

Best way to see Illilouette, Nevada and Vernal Falls - avoids much of uphill of doing top and bottom separately. The views are awesome of Half Dome and whole area - be sure to find out how to locate Panorama Point - it was great...More

We did this trail as part of a backcountry trip, but you could do this as a day hike (I'd allow a full day though). If you go during season, you can park in the valley, catch a ride to glacier point and then most...More

This year is unusual since there is so much snow still in the high country. I have been told there are 8 foot drifts. Before taking this hike this year I would check to make sure the trail is open. If it is then make sure... More
Hi, I'm planning on hiking the Panorama Trail, I have lots of hiking experience but do struggle with vertigo and exposure (to sheer cliff edges). Therefore, would I struggle with this hike? Any advice much appreciated!
