The drive along Tioga Road and over Tioga Pass is is one of California's most spectacular. The scenery along the way is amazing - Tenaya Lake, Tuolumne Meadows, views of Mt. Hoffmann, Mt. Conness, Mt. Dana, and the Cathedral Range, and the view from Olmstead...More

Its not open for a lot of the year, and no wonder! But if you get a chance to drive up and down to Le Vinning you will never forget it. A real road builders nightmare, congrats to all who built and maintain it!

We drove from east to west on our way to spend a couple of days exploring Yosemite. My comment was that if I never see any more of the park than I did that day I'd still be happy. Just delightful scenery.

I had never heard of this part of Yosemite National Park until I visited & I am glad I went here. The views are stunning. It takes about 3 hours to make a round trip here from the Yosemite Valley.

We drove Tioga Pass on the way to yosemite Valley and tried to stop at as many view points and small walks that we could squeeze in. The road wasn't busy and it was an easy enough drive.
