We took the shuttle to El Capitan, and the trail to Bridalveil Falls was just a short walk across the street. The trail was moderately easy with a few rocks to climb over, and we actually walked back along the paved road, although you have...More

Saw the falls as part of our journey up to Glacier Point. The bus driver stopped the bus as a bride and groom where actually having their photo taken in front of the falls. An amazing sight

I'd recommend going in the Spring if possible - we went in August and (as our guide book indicated), there really wasn't that much water cascading down - it was more like a magical mist dancing in the wind. You can scramble your way up and...More

Another must visit spot in Yosemite. The hike to the waterfall base is easy and short. The views are beautiful and very popular. Parking is a bit tough with lots of cars looking for a shortage of spots.

We had a nice walk up near the Falls. Not recommended for wheelchairs or people with difficulty walking, although one or two people with walkers were able to go to the view point.

Pulled over here on our way to our stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge. It was a very refreshing stop after a arduous but scenic drive through El Portal. This was a nice way to introduce ourselves to Yosemite Valley. There seemed to be fairly ample...More

This falls can be easily viewed from various places within the valley or viewed up close and personal by hiking up a short trail to the base of the falls. Not a big flow in the fall when we visited but, based on some pictures...More

After a nice short walk you end up at the pretty waterfall. The "bridalveil" is quite noticeable as a thin mist reaches a long way from the waterfall. We were there early April so the snow had started melting and the falls were very nice...More
