    Yellowstone
Yellowstone was beautiful. So much to see and do. We had been told that the weather can change quickly. They were right. It was 50 degrees and sunny one minute and within 20 minutes it was cloudy and rainy. The temperature dropped to 37. It wasn’t very busy. I am glad we went at this time.

    A beautiful iconic spot
Aside from Old Faithful, the Yellowstone River Canyon and Yellowstone Falls are well known icons. The canyon is amazing and the falls are spectacular. All along are numerous view points. We liked Artist Point best

    Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
We were in Yellowstone National Park in June 2023. We walked to the upper falls lookout. It was an intersting walk with spectacular views of the canyoun and the waterfall. we then drove to the lower lookout. You need to walk down some 600 feet to the viewing platform. The view there is similarly spectacular. This was certianlya highlight of our visit

I came for the snow, and found it 6/23/23
I had seen a picture from the week before while still at home, and there was snow to the left of the waterfall. It was still there when we arrived ! The Grand Canyon is smaller than Arizona's, but the water and what it cut out is equally impressive. There were many spots to view different angles of the masterpiece. Many people chose this as their best experience in the park.

    Highlight of central Yellowstone
The park is so spread out, and travel slow because of traffic and animal blocking/sighting, that you should stay where your primary interest and time indicates. If it is the geysers, try to stay south. If it is the canyon, mudpots and river stay central, and the north has Mammoth and the wildlife valley. There are trails along both sides, south and north, of the canyon. Easy and relatively (couple of miles) shorts.

    A Must-See in Yellowstone
This is the most amazing site! We visited the canyon two days in a row. There are both paved rim trails and more rigorous trails down into the canyon to get you right next to the falls. I'd recommend getting there early in the morning or before dusk, as that is when the canyon is least busy and at its most beautiful.

Must see. Do not skip this!
The grand canyon is a must see. There are several vantage points to see the falls and the canyon itself. If you can walk down to the brink of the lower falls, do it, but, remember you must walk back up. Also, if you are walking on the boardwalks, remember to stay single file and be courteous to others. Artist Point is a beautiful vantage point. Highly recommend!

    The best views
Hard to rate the best attractions in Yellowstone, but if you ranked this #1, you wouldn’t be wrong. Probably the most scenic views you will get in the entire park. Awe inspiring at all of the different view points. Make sure to check out artists point!

Very impressive canyon available to all.
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone! This was a bucket list item for me. Although you can drive the south rim we opted to hike it from Chittenden Bridge to Artists point because, hey, that's what we do, we hike! And we got to see more of the canyon. The hike is about 3 miles out and back and is of moderate difficulty. We ate a lunch before starting at the picnic area near the Chittenden Bridge but go early there are not alot of tables and some of the tours set up lunch there. Down in the woods are some nice logs to sit on if no tables are available. We started our hike here and the first stop was the Upper Falls Viewing area. The upper falls fall 109 feet. Next, we hiked down the canyon rim towards Artist's Point with several, unbelievable in number and beauty, views of the canyon. We also got some great views from different aspects of the lower falls. The lower falls falls are 308 feet high which is twice the height of Niagra Falls. It is the largest volume waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. This was a pleasant hike for us lots of shade, but we are experienced hikers. For the occasional hiker or non-hiker it could prove to be moderately strenuous.

A must see for any outdoors folks. Nice hike from falls overlook to second point farther from road if you wish rather than driving both points

My recent visit to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone in Yellowstone National Park left me utterly awestruck. Nature's masterpiece unfolded before my eyes, and the sheer grandeur of this canyon is something that words can scarcely capture. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is a testament to the extraordinary beauty that nature can carve. The well-maintained trails and strategically placed lookout points provide various perspectives of the canyon.Begin your visit early in the day to avoid crowds and experience the canyon in the soft morning light.

Absolutely beautiful. Any picture you have seen does not do this place justice. An absolute must do. We drove the rims and stopped at the attractions. Would recommend going early during busy times.

This was a wonderful drive to the Yellowstone upper and lower falls along the canyon. There are beautiful views from everywhere. A few steps up and down and many viewpoints. I thought this canyon was gorgeous.
