The Education Center is located right next to the Geyser itself and is a must see to complement your visit to Old Faithful. Since the geyser is quite predictable, stop by before or after to learn a lot.

Cool place to learn more about the area. They have a kids education area as well. No food or drinks allowed. Great view of old faithful as well as listed times it will go off.

If you are driving through Yellowstone in the 2nd half of October, is the parking lot at the Old Faithful Visitor Center large enough to park if you are towing a 30' travel trailer?

Yes, the lot is Huge with lots of space & turning areas. I saw lots of road work equipment when we were there. Just be sure it would be a good idea to contact the National Park Service, as they might have rules / suggestions... More
