The falls are dramatic and easily reached from a parking area. There is an extended viewing area for great photos.

I really enjoyed the walk down from the North Rim road to see the falls up close - wonderful to see the sides of the canyon covered with snow.

The view point is not far from the parking lot. (5 min walk) . Great view of the canyon and the falls.

October is end of season so plan for weather. Could be clear and 60’s, 50’s or cold and overcast. Beautiful if you can get a view.

Words can't describe this, a must see. When planning this trip this was not on the Trip Advisor Top 10 list to me it should have been. The Upper Falls and the Lower Falls are a MUST.
