It goes off every 12 hours and for us that was 30 mins after Old Faithful. A very spectacular show that goes for 20-30 mins. If you see it, you are a lucky one.

Old Faithful is well know and very popular BUT if you get the chance, walk along the road to see a Castle Geyser eruption... Spectacular! The noise itself is awesome.

While it is not as better known as some of the other guys or’s, the Castle Geyser is still pretty cool and worth stopping by while you are walking along the Geyser walkway.

Great smaller geyser with an interesting rock formation. We sat for a while waiting although there is a prediction time listed, it’s close, but not 100% accurate. This is nature & not man made !! Have patience.

Everyone goes to see Old Faithfull but other than a a less predictable eruption time and a less formal viewing area we found Castle Geyser more interesting and better to watch

This one is more interesting to look at, but harder to catch going off. It is definitely worth walking around to see they various other geysers and geothermal features in the park.

the geyser has eruption prediction time, you can check on the National park website or see it in the visitor center, even so, the prediction time has +/- 45 min error, so unless you have plenty of time to wait, otherwise, may be just depending...More

We only saw it erupt from a distance, but it was fantastic! Went for a long time and shot very high up
