Take the trail just Past, South or East, of the Kempler Falls pull out. Get away from the crowds. Enjoy walk along stream, shade except at high noon, Third only to Great Fountain, and maybe BeeHive. Tallest Cone, nicest location, only 3 miles from Old...More

A very easy hike -- 4 miles round trip, all flat. The prize at the end is a geyser which is second only to Old Faithful but there are only 20 or so people waiting and watching rather than the 1000 at old Faithful. The...More

You don't need boots or poles to hike up the road to the geyser. Goes off about every 3 hours so if you can find out when the last eruption was you need an hour to hike up to it. Easy for families also.

We hit this geyser just as it was really starting to boil and boy did we get a show. It was as good as Old Faithful if not better. I can say it did last longer.

Really gorgeous hike to the geyser, which is by a river. Even though we didn't get to see the geyser go off, it was well worth the hike!

We were told this was the best geyser to see in the park at the ranger station and they were right!! It erupts once every 3 hours and easily rivals Old Faithful for magnitude and awe. Most importantly it has the benefit of being completely...More
